Air Compressors – Framework Agreement Breathing Air Compressors. Fmv Is Commissioned By The Swedish Armed Forces To Procure A Framework Agreement For Breathing Air Compressors. Today, The Armed Forces Have Various Makes And Models Of Breathing Air Compressors On Board Ships And On Land For Filling Breathing Air 200/300 Bar For, Among Other Things, Smoke Diving Bottles, Water Diving Bottles And Air Banks. The Compressors Are Now, Due To Age, Subject To Turnover. The Framework Agreement Is Intended To Be Signed For Two (2) Years With The Possibility Of An Extension For Another Two (2) Years. The Scope Includes Three (3) Sizes/Categories (Small, Medium And Large) As Well As Certain Variants Regarding The Operation (Electric Or Gasoline Powered, With Some Variation Regarding Frequency For The Electric Powered). The Framework Agreement Also Includes A Number Of Accessories. Within The Framework Of The Procurement, A Maintenance Agreement Must Also Be Signed. This Agreement Is Triggered As An Option And Signed For Two (2) Years With The Possibility Of Extension Two (2) Years At A Time With A Maximum Contract Length Of Ten (10) Years. The Longer Contract Length Is Justified By The Expected Long Service Life Of The Compressors. The Scope Includes Helpdesk, Spare Parts, Consumables And The Possibility To Order Modification Of The Compressors.
