These sites have already had Initial seismic assessments carried out and have been identified for Detailed Seismic Assessment after returning a rating of lower than 25% NBS. The buildings are mostly single- or two-story structures, with a few sites having multiple buildings, there are existing property files for 18 sites, once detailed seismic assessments have been carried out further work will be done to determine whether concept designs and pricing seismic strengthening will be required. This will be done on a case-by-case basis as the future of some sites may be considered if the detailed seismic assessment lowers the NBS rating further and determines the scale of strengthening required.
