The Kanta-Häme Welfare Area Is Requesting Bids For The Round-The-Clock Care Ring For A Patient With Respiratory Paralysis In Accordance With The Request For Bids And Its Appendices. Respiratory Paralysis Refers To A Situation Where The Patients Breathing Is Permanently, Completely Or Almost Completely Dependent On Ventilator Therapy. Respiratory Therapy Is Carried Out Through A Tracheostomy (Tracheostomy) And A Cannula. Patients With Respiratory Paralysis Are Treated 24 Hours A Day, Seven (7) Days A Week. The Responsibility For Organizing Services Is Transferred From Health Care To Social Care. The Care Circles Organized By The Health Care Will Be Given Up And The Services Will Be Handled By The Welfare Areas Social Services, Just Like Services For Other Disabled Persons. From 1 January 2025 (At The Latest After The Transition Period Of 1 January 2028), The Services Of A Person Living On A Breathing Machine Will Be Organized As Services In Accordance With The Disability Services Act. The Object Of The Acquisition Is A Care Circle For A Person Living On A Ventilator As A 24-Hour (24 H/Day) Home-Produced Service.
