The Purpose Of This Change Was To Create A More Modern And Efficient Emergency Room With An Updated It Platform. The Previous System, Which Has Been In Use Since 2008, Was Assessed As Insufficient To Support The Desired Improvements. Organizationally, The Doctors Ward Is Part Of Det Nære Sundhedsvæsen In Region Zealand. It Handles Urgent Inquiries Outside General Practitioners Opening Hours And Is Staffed By Approximately 240 Doctors And 60 Nurses Spread Over 11 Consultation Sites In The Region. The Ambulance Service Also Carries Out Sick Visits, Where Ambulances Are Used. These Visits Cover The Whole Region And In Some Cases The Visits Are Carried Out Only By Rescuers Who Are In Close Contact With A Doctor By Phone Or Video. The Solution Must Support The Five Main Tasks Of The Medical On-Call: Visitation, Consultation, Sick Visits, Rear-Guard Tasks And Coordinator Tasks. The Primary Functionality Includes, Among Other Things, Record Keeping, Data Presentation, Decision Support, Coordination, Rearguard Functionality, Planning And Execution Of Consultations And Patient Visits, Benefit Registration, Billing Processes, Sms Communication And Integration With Other Healthcare Parties.
