Expression of Interest For Burundi Social Inclusion Study

Expression of Interest are invited for Burundi Social Inclusion Study Access to a robust, reliable and inclusive civil registration (CR) and identification (ID) ecosystem is essential to accelerate inclusive development. The ability to prove ones identity can improve access and efficiency of service delivery to deliver tangible benefits in a wide range of areas, such as education, financial inclusion, health services and social protection for the poorest and most vulnerable populations. Design and implementation choices for the CR and ID system (henceforth referred to as ID systems) must be people-centred, as highlighted in the ID Principles (see Box 1), to avoid unintentional exclusion, barriers to access, incentives and opportunities for fraud, compromising peoples privacy and trust, and/or diminishing the utility or attractiveness of the system.
