This EOI will establish a list of approved arbitrators that will be available to arbitrate disputes between consumers and registered contractors and subcontractors, as specified under M.G.L. c. 142A and 201 CMR 14.00. OCABR oversees the general management of residential contracting arbitration cases, including, but not limited to, appointing arbitrators, administering trainings to the arbitrators, and answering any questions the arbitrator may have during the pendency of the arbitrator matter.
