The Purpose Of This Project Is To Renovate An Area Within Seven Sisters For Use As An Inpatient Withdrawal Management Program. Seven Sisters, Constructed In 2024, Is A New Mental Health Residential Facility Which Offers A Rehabilitation And Recovery Program For Adults Living With Serious And Persistent Mental Illness. The Area Within Seven Sisters To Be Renovated Is Called “Transition To Community Pod” Shown On Architectural As Built Drawings In Appendix A.The Existing Space, To Be Renovated, Incudes A North And South Wing With A Total Of 5 Bedrooms; Each Wing Having A Kitchen, Dining, Lounge Area, And Washroom. Access To The Existing Space Is Through An Independent Rear Building Access.The Renovated Space Is To Have 5 Beds, 4 Office Spaces, A Living Room, 2 Washrooms, A Locker Room For Resident Belongings, And A Medication Room. This Space Is To Be Renovated To Meet Applicable Csa Standards. The Facility Is To Provide A Temporary Space For Approximately 3 Years.
