Request for Proposals (RFP) for Web Cameras - Remote Network Sensor Open Date: Wednesday, 28 August 2024 3:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Close Date: Friday, 20 September 2024 1:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Tender Type: Request for Proposals (RFP) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: New Zealand Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: The Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences (GNS) is New Zealands leading Earth science institute and is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Provider(s) who will be responsible for providing monitoring camera equipment to supplement our remote sensing network. We require 13 network camera units with either visual and/or infra-red imagery capabilities for deployment in our Webcam Monitoring Network (WMN). We also require the future supply of accessories, services, and parts (should they be required), to support ongoing service delivery. Investing in the latest camera technology enables us to maintain research capability along with geohazard monitoring for response purposes. This investment will support GeoNets broader outcomes of delivering maximum value and security to the citizens of New Zealand. The key objective of this procurement is to seek proposals from suitable Provider(s) and compare offers to select the best overall solutions (technical competency and value-for-money).
