Request for Proposals (RFP) for Smartgrowth Kai Arahi Technical Advisor Open Date: Monday, 26 August 2024 8:00 AM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Close Date: Thursday, 19 September 2024 2:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Tender Type: Request for Proposals (RFP) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: Bay of Plenty Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: Tauranga City Council invites proposals for this contract for which the works/services comprise: The role of the T Pakari Kai rahi advisor is to provide technical advice and support to SmartGrowth, that leads the facilitation, organisation and engagement for the Combined Tngata Whenua Forum (CTWF) scheduled meetings and or workshops. The CTWF includes members from Te Khui Mana Whenua o Tauranga Moana and Te Ihu o te Waka o Te Arawa with the WBOPDC, and Te Rangap Mana Whenua o Tauranga Moana with TCC. The Kai rahi will be supported by the Pou rahi, and Te Khui Kaunihera the SmartGrowth advisory team and Te Khui Kaunihera being those SmartGrowth partner Mori policy and relationship teams at TCC, WBOPDC and Toi Moana (BOPRC). The Kai rahi will engage with SmartGrowth collective partner entities, committees, working groups, and lead partner organisations, technical and policy advisory teams to support the implementation of the SmartGrowth Strategy and Future Development Strategy initiatives, and actions that progress the CTWF growth, development and protection priorities within the SmartGrowth Strategy. It is expected the Kai rahi will inform themselves of the wider policy and operating environment and individual partner projects to ensure theyre able to give sound advice to the Pou rahi, governance members of the Combined Tangata Whenua Forum, and partner organisation working groups.
