Tenders are invited for Backup Power Systems. The systems upgrades will enable them serve low-income populations especially marginalised groups such as women, youth, SMSEs, disabled and rural populations use and adopt Digital Financial Services (DFS). Specifically, NatSwitchs functionalities will be enhanced so that it is connected to any National and International Payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard and Europay as well as regional payment systems for easier and more efficient cross border payments. On the other hand, the MFI Hub willbe equipped to deliver affordable products and services targeting low-income population through MFIs and Saccos. The upgrades will require both hardware, software, capacity building, project management and systems maintenance for a specified duration and expected to be delivered within a period of 365 calendar days from the date of signing the contract.
