Expression of Interest For National Water Supply Consultant

Expression of Interest are invited for National Water Supply Consultant (MISTI-USWSDP-IC-01) The RGC has proposed a surface water Supply Project to fulfil the demand of clean water in provinces of Kampot, Svay Rieng, Kampong Cham, Stung Treng and Tbong Khmum and to provide improved access and sustainable water supply services and infrastructure in participating towns in these provinces. The proposed investment project may include the following Investment Components: a) Component 1 - Improving and expanding water supply infrastructure: This component shall support rehabilitation and/or construction of water supply systems in the participating towns in provinces of Kampot, Svay Rieng, Kampong Cham, Stung Treng and Tbaung Khmum, including raw water intake, water treatment plant, water transmission system, water storage reservoirs, water distribution system, household connections with water meters etc. to meet the water demand for population growth and spatial expansion of towns. This component shall also support development of ancillary climate-resilient water supply infrastructure, including dual source power supply, emergency water storage, flood protection works etc. b) Component 2 - Capacity building and project management: This component shall support strengthening of institutional capacity of relevant central and local agencies. It shall also support Project management, monitoring and evaluation, supervision and maintenance of infrastructure investments. 2 The MISTI is proposing to recruit an individual Consultant to support the Project Management Unit (PMU) during project preparation and project implementation phases. The MISTI is seeking a qualified National Water Supply Consultant to provide support to the PMU, under the guidance of the Project Director.
