The existing interior finishing materials have reached the end of their lifecycle and become old and require replacement with new finishes, including the introduction of usable and upgraded spaces. This project will require site visits for tendering only and the appropriate inspections to determine the supply and installation of the required materials. Design documentation and scope of works will be provided. All documentation will be prepared by an architect representative consultant, to NZ Safety Codes and MoE standards. All procedures to comply with MoE property legislation. Nature of Works consists of : Interior refurbishing the specialist technology spaces in the Technology Block. - Re-line existing ceilings with GIB - Remove and dispose of any poor condition cabinetry, pantry and specialist equipment that require replacement in the specialist classrooms - Supply and install new cabinetry, pantries, and specialist equipment. - Removal and disposal of existing vinyl. - Inspection of the flooring and remediate as required. - Replace with new vinyl (works to include all coving and floor preparation as required) - Remove and dispose of existing heating and extraction fans - Supply and install new heat pump units and extraction fan units.
