Request for information For Outage Study

Tenders are invited for Outage Study 1. The United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone (the Government) anticipate entering into a Compact for Millennium Challenge Account assistance to help facilitate poverty reduction through economic growth in Sierra Leone in the amount of approximately four hundred and eighty million dollars (US $ 480 million) (MCC Funding). The Government has formed the Sierra Leone Compact Development Unit (SLCDU) under the auspices of the Office of the Vice President for the purpose of developing the Compact. Prior to the approval of the Compact, and to facilitate the development and implementation of the Compact, MCC and the Government have entered into a grant agreement, dated March 3, 2022 (as amended or otherwise modified from time to time, the CDF Agreement), whereby MCC granted to the Government an amount not to exceed US$11,970,375 (Eleven million, nine hundred and seventy thousand, three hundred and seventy-five). Subject to the terms and conditions of the CDF Agreement, the Compact, related agreements, and the availability of funds, the Government intends to use a portion of available funds to finance professional consulting services from a legally constituted firm (the Consultant) to conduct the outage study described in the attached Technical Dossier (the Outage Study).
