Support Is Required For One Male Who Lives In County Durham Area Who Has His Own Tenancy.The Individual Requires 1:1 Support In His Own Property Between 7Am – 11Pm, And Sleep-In Service 11Pm – 7Am. The Provider Will Require Knowledge And Experience Of Working With Adults With Mental Health Needs.The Individual Has A Medical History Of Acquired Brain Injury, Cognitive Issues, Organic Personality Disorder And Visual Impaired.The Individual Has Limited Awareness Of Very Basis Risks Due To His Cognitive Impairment. He Is Vulnerable To Reprisal By Others. The Individual Has Communication Issues, Staff Are To Support Appropriately To Ensure He Can Communicate Wishes And Feelings.Staff Will Need To Provide Prompts And Encouragement To Attend To Activities Of Daily Living And To Access The Community. He Displays Inappropriate Sexualised Behaviour. Behaviour Is Managed By Staff Referring To And Implementing His Positive Behaviour Support Plan And Risk Management Plan.Due To The Individual’S Inappropriate Behaviour, Male Or Mature Female Staff Would Be Preferable.
