Expression of Interest are invited for Selection of a Preferred Bidder for the Resuscitation of the Akute Power Plant that Powers the Lagos State Water Corporation Facilities at Akute, Adiyan and Iju Water Works via Build, Own, Operate and Transfer. The Akute power plant was designed to power the Lagos State Water Corporation (LWC) facilities at Akute, Adiyan, and Iju water works. The plant consists of 4 gas-fired engines with all necessary auxiliaries for the smooth operation of the plant. The plans total capacity at commissioning stands at 12.15MW with each unit rated at 3.075MW. As of the time of shutting down the plant in July 2022, the status report is as follows: Unit 1 was okay and running before shutdown instruction. Unit 2 had a bad alternator which was refurbished Unit 3 had an exciter issue Unit 4 had the alternator removed and with vendor METHOD OF SUBMISSION Applications or (REOI) shall be submitted electronically on the e-procurements platform of the Lagos state public procurement agency (lagosppa.gov.ng) no later than 17:00 hours West African time (GMT+1) Friday 23rd August 2024.
