Tenders Are Invited For Southern St. Georges Water Supply Expansion Works

Tenders are invited for Southern St. Georges Water Supply Expansion Works Project The Government of Grenada (GOGR) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to approximately 20.8 million United States dollars allocated from funds provided by the United Kingdom through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office(FCDO) to CDB under the United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund(UKCIF) towards the cost of the Southern St. Georges Water Supply Expansion Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under this contract. Payment by CDB will be made only at the request of GOGR and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement. The Financing Agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the Financing Account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under ChapterVII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than GOGR shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing. The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) is the Executing Agency for the Project, and is responsible for the overall implementation of the Project. NAWASA, a statutory corporation wholly owned by GOGR, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Southern St. George Water Supply Expansion Works Lots 1 and 2. The works include, but may not be limited to the following: (a) Lot 1 Concord Water Treatment Plant Upgrade and Piping Works (b) Lot 2 Southern St. Georges Water and Sewer Main Upgrade, involving the laying or upgrade of 14km of water pipelines and 2km of sewer pipelines along with associated fittings and valves, and flow meters Tender Link : https://www.caribank.org/work-with-us/procurement/procurement-notices
