Oxfordshire County Council (Occ) Is Designated A Lead Local Flood Authority (Llfa) Under The Flood And Water Management Act, 2010. As Such It Has Powers And Duties Relating To “Local” Sources Of Flooding, These Are Flooding From Surface Water, Ordinary Watercourses And Groundwater. The Flood Risk Management (Frm) Team (With The Planning, Environment And Circular Economy Directorate) Carries Out These Functions Within Occ, Working In Partnership With The District And City Councils Alongside Others.
