Request for Proposal For Audit Of Elections Observation Network

Request for proposals are invited for Audit of Liberia Elections Observation Network in Monrovia LEON commenced activities in June 2017 with funding from the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency (Sida) and technical assistance from The Carter CenterDemocracy Program. LEON observes general and by-elections, advocates for issues around constitutional and electoral reform, conducts citizens perception surveys, monitors and reports on the Liberian Legislature, facilitates social media monitoring, and engages in civic and voter education. Consistent with its grant agreement with Sida, The Carter Center is soliciting a request for tenders from Liberia-based audit and accounting firms to review and report on LEONs financial records for the subgrant year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The successful firm will be required to carry out the audit in accordance with the International Standards of Auditing, and the guidelines provided by the Liberia Institute of Certified Public Accountants. We invite proposals from relevant firms per the requirements laid out in the Request for Tender (see link below). Proposals with all mandatory sections must be provided by email only by Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10:00 PM GMT to [email protected]. The tentative start date of the contract is Thursday, August 22, 2024, and is expected to run for approximately two and a half months.
