This modelling helps us plan and tailor our services because we can then better understand client needs and what works and for whom. We want to partner with a provider with advanced modelling expertise to help us take the next step in our modelling. Outputs from this work will provide key insights and strategic advice informing the decisions of the Ministry What we need: The Ministry is looking for a credible provider that is highly skilled at modelling long-term outcomes and has the capability, capacity and experience and infrastructure to deliver requirements we will set out in an upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP). We want a provider that will not limit thinking to merely adjusting the existing modelling approach, but instead bring fresh innovative ideas on how the Ministry can take the next step forward in its modelling work. This may include streamlining the existing modelling and/or building tools to enable Ministry staff to produce insights faster and more easily, and better communicate those insights. We expect the successful respondent to collaborate with our actuarial and analytical staff to develop and deliver the modelling approach. This will help us use the outputs of this work to produce and present insights for regular reporting, analysis and scenario testing, and other ad-hoc applications.
