Advertisement For Bids: Package Water Treatment System Replacementlake Rabun Water Treatment Plant Rabun County Water And Sewer Authoritysealed Bids Will Be Received By The Rabun County Water And Sewer Authority, Georgia For Furnishing Materials, Labor, Tools, Equipment, And Any Other Miscellaneous Items Necessary For The Construction Of Package Water Treatment System Replacement- Lake Rabun Water Treatment Plant.Bids Will Be Received At Rabun County Water And Sewer Authority, 137 Hiawassee Street, Clayton, Ga 30525 Until 1:00 P.M. On October 8, 2024. Any Bid Received After Said Time And Date Of Bid Opening Will Not Be Considered By Owner. The Project Consists Of, But Is Not Limited To The Following Major Elements: Enhancements To Existing 2.0 Mgd Water Treatment Facility. Major Components Include Restoration Of 2 Each 1.0 Mgd Package Filter Units And Associated Controls With New Filter Media And Associated Internal Components Of Each Filter Unit. Each Filter Unit Will Be Converted From A Roberts System To A Trident System, Manufactured By Westech Engineering, Inc.. All Controls Shall Be Upgraded As Well. And Existing Blowers Shall Be Replaced As Well With New Air Piping. Work Also Includes Repairing Any Interior Coating Failures In Each Filter. Note: The Filter Equipment Package By Westech Engineering, Inc For The 2 Each 1.0 Mgd Package Filter Units Shall Be Furnished By The Authority And Is Already In Storage At A Facility Near The Water Treatment Plant Site. Time Of Completion For All Work Associated With This Project Shall Be Ninety (90) Consecutive Calendar Days To Achieve Substantial Completion And 150 Consecutive Calendar Days To Achieve Final Completion.
