On The Other Hand, The Road Safety Strategy 2030 Highlights That The Generation Of Knowledge Is A Basic Pillar Of Any Evidence-Based Policy. In Particular, Within The Strategic Area Data And Knowledge For Risk-Based Management, It Establishes The Classic Distinction Between: Accident And Victim Data; Mobility Or Risk Exposure Data; Key Performance Indicators (Kpi) Data. The Relationship Between These Data Is Explained As Follows: The Number Of Accidents And Victims Depends On The Amount Of Mobility And The Safety Conditions In Which This Mobility Is Carried Out. Under This Budget, The Need To Have An Estimate Of The Kilometers Traveled By The Vehicle Fleet Is Established, Which Will Allow Mobility To Be Analyzed As Exposure To Risk.
