Tenders are invited for Supporting the Federal Gov of Somalia in the Establishment of an Interoperable Data Mgmt Systems The objective of this Consultancy is to provide the World Bank with a baseline study with proposed technical, financial, institutional, and legal options to guide the future implementation of a robust and interoperable data management system in Somalia. This is expected to be achieved through the following: · Assessing existing Hydromet observing and information management systems and infrastructure in Somalia, identifying the gaps and needs. · Proposing options to inform the technical, financial, institutional, and legal aspects required for the future implementation of a robust and interoperable data management system in Somalia. The focus will be on designing IT solutions that seamlessly gather real-time data from diverse sources (River Gauging Stations and Automatic Weather Stations (AWS)), carry out quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), display data and analysis. · Strengthening Somalia counterparts capabilities for the implementation and run of a robust and interoperable data management system.
