As landowners, Council is in a unique position to not only generate revenue through the sale and development of the land but also (through working in tandem with a build partner) to influence the typology, quantity and price point(s) of affordable housing within the district. Council has the opportunity to create in the region of 600 new lots for new housing via a number of stages in the East Urban Land.
