Bids Are Invited For Water Scada Masterplan

This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By The Town Of Cochrane (“The Town”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For Water Scada Masterplan, As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix B) (The “Deliverables”). The Town Is Requesting Proposals From Qualified Proponents To Develop A Scada Masterplan For Water. The Scada Masterplan Will Provide Direction To The Town’S Water Utility For Next Five Years. The Plan Will Estimate Costs As Well As Identify Challenges And Opportunities. Most Of The Town’S Water Related Scada Infrastructure Is Nearing End Of Life And Has Been Flagged For Replacement Over The Next Three Years. Understanding The Renewal Of The Town’S Scada Infrastructure Will Create An Opportunity To Improve System. The Town Wants To Ensure The New System Considers Improved Physical And Digital Security, Additional Infrastructure To Help Identify Water Loss, Industry Best Practices And System Design Redundancies To Reduce The Risk Of Service Interruption.Along With The Development Of The Masterplan The Selected Proponent Will Update The Existing Piping And Instrumentation Diagram (“P&Id’S”) To Reflect The Current Configuration At The Town’S Reservoirs, Booster Stations, And The Water Treatment Plant (“Wtp”). The P&Id’S Scope Will Be Subject To Budget Approval And Availability.The Town’S Scada Masterplan Is To Be Completed On Or Before January 31, 2025.
