Tenders Are Invited For Supporting Palestinian Citizens And Civil Society Actors

Tenders are invited for Supporting Palestinian Citizens and Civil Society Actors Global Communities has been selected by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to serve as the Prime Contractor for the Active Citizenry Activity (ACA). ACA is inviting qualified organizations with experience in one of the following four thematic areas of interest: 1) Human Rights and Rule of Law, 2) Combating Gender-based Violence (GBC), 3) Promoting women and youths economic empowerment, and 4) Environmental and/or climate change, such as water, wastewater, and solid waste practices to submit their applications for the subject activity based on this Request for Applications (RFA). This RFA is open to all eligible Palestinian organizations. Applicants who are eligible to apply are: Palestinian civil society organizations including independent not-for-profit media organizations, non-governmental academic institutions, unions, and professional associations, US Non-governmental Organizations that are able to respond through written applications. All applicants must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law and authorized to operate in the West Bank and/or East Jerusalem depending on the targeted geographic area of interest. For-profit entities are eligible to apply, but fixed fee or profit must not be included in the budget. Government and parastatal entities are ineligible to apply for these grant funds. ACA anticipates awarding around six (6) awards this year. Awards could start in Sep 2024. Interested organizations should submit their applications, in electronic format in accordance with the language of the solicitation, to the address specified in section 3(B). The applications must be received no later than August 8th, 2024 (COB) Jerusalem Time. Responding organizations are advised that this solicitation does not in any way commit ACA to make an award or compensate the responding organizations for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of their applications.
