The Client Needs To Enter Into A Turnkey Contract For The Extension Of The Industrial Quay. The Measure Has Been Triggered As A Result Of A Grant From The Coastal Administration In The Scheme For Subsidies For Investment In Efficient And Environmentally Friendly Ports, The Contractor Must Contribute So That The Client Complies With The Conditions Laid Down In The Grant. The Extension Must Be An Extension Of The Existing Industrial Quay And Be Of A Similar Design. The Area In Question Is An Extension Of The South Side Of The Existing Industrial Quay At Strandgata 151, 4307 Sandnes. The Project Includes The Expansion Of The Industrial Quay Facility To Increase Capacity At The Port And Arrangements Must Be Made To Make Shore Power Available To Ships Moored At The Quay. The Expansion Will Take Place At The Same Time As Normal Operations At The Quay Facility. Work Intended To Be Covered By The Contract: - Arrange For Piling Through The Existing Plastic Ring. - The Builder Has Estimated The Impact Of 27 Friction Piles, Estimated At Approx. 60 Meters Per Pile, A Total Of Approx. 1600 Meter Pole. The Piles Must Have A Capacity To Absorb Vertical Forces Of Approx. 5000 Kn Per Pile. Piles Must Be Settled Per Meter From The Theoretical Cap Height. - Demolition Of Existing Submersibles. - Anchoring Of The New Quay Deck In The Existing Quay And At The Rear Edge Of The New Quay To Absorb Horizontal Forces. - Preparing A New Quay With Draw Pipes, Sumps, Etc. - Laying Up Crane Rails In The New Quay Deck Which Is An Extension Of The Existing Crane Rails. Progress: The Project Has A Flexible Start Time And The Construction Period Is Estimated At Approx. Seven (7) Months. The Client Has A Deadline From The Norwegian Coastal Administration For The Project To Be Completed And A Final Report Submitted By 30 November 2025. The Final Report Must Contain Project Accounts Confirmed By An Auditor Showing That The Project Has Been Carried Out In Accordance With The Grant Letter. The Contractors Deadline Is Set To 31 October 2025. The Contractor Himself States When The Construction Period Is To Start, But Planning And Public Proceedings Must Be Taken Into Account.
