Work Detail
The City Of Neukirchen-Vluyn Plans To Extensively Renovate, Renovate And Modernize The Niederberg Municipal Comprehensive School At Tersteegenstrasse 85 And 87 In Neukirchen-Vluyn In Accordance With Current Educational Ideas. The Aim Is To Have A Comprehensive School That Has Been Largely Renovated And Modernized And Which Not Only Meets The Current Construction And Operational Requirements, But Also Creates Learning Islands And Lounge Areas For An Individual And Group-Oriented Learning Landscape. The Disciplines Of Inclusion And Social Work Play An Important Role Here, As Does Taking Into Account The Knowledge Gained During The Corona Pandemic, Such As The Requirements For Network Equipment Or The Division Of The Grades Through Targeted Partial Closures Of Individual Areas. For This Purpose, Rooms Must Be Relocated And Adapted According To Needs. School Operations Must Be Maintained During The Construction Phase. Parts Of The Building Are Assigned To The Respective Grades. This Makes It Possible To Address The Needs Of Student Groups In Corresponding Years In A More Targeted Manner. Even Taking Pandemic-Related Events Into Account, Dividing The Grades Allows For Targeted Partial Closure Of Individual Areas; Lessons Can Continue For Unaffected Groups. To Implement The Measure, Classrooms Will Be Partially Relocated Or Their Floor Plan Will Be Optimized (Enlargement Of The Room, Creation Of Learning Islands). The Specialist Rooms Are Also Adapted To The Teaching And Learning Offerings Of The Corresponding Grades. For Example, In Grades 5-7. Viewing Windows And Doors Can Be Set Up Across Classes. Furthermore, An Optimization Of The Spatial Use Of The Teaching Kitchen Is Planned. In Consultation With The User, This Will Be Brought Up To Date With The Current State Of The Art In Terms Of Their Requirements. By Specifically Positioning The New Teaching Kitchens In Larger Areas, They Can Also Be Used As A Catering Base For Event Purposes. Formerly In The Remote Building Wing B, The Teaching Kitchen Will Be Relocated To The Ground Floor Area Of Building Wing G With A Direct Connection To The Foyer Area. Structural Measures, Among Other Things: Changing The Floor Plan Layout. Static Interventions, Thus Complex Structural Planning In The Entire Building Complex. A (At Least Visual) Wayfinding System Is Also Being Planned Across Buildings So That Even People Who Are Unfamiliar With The Building Can Get A Quick Overview Of The Division Of The Building Parts And Find Their Way Around. In This Context, The Gütersloh Model Must Also Be Taken Into Account And Placed In A Design Context To The Overall Architecture. The Comprehensive School Area Will Also Receive An Electronic Locking System. On The One Hand, The Requirements Must Be Coordinated With The User And, On The Other Hand, Existing Systems At The School Center Must Be Taken Into Account. During The Inventory, A Few Points Have Already Been Noticed That Extend The Previous Cost Estimate. On The One Hand, It Was Determined That All Suspended Ceilings Must Be Replaced As The Tga Measures Require This. These Include, Among Other Things, The Complete Renewal Of The Drinking Water Network, I.E. Replacing The Pipes Or Installing New Lines For The Electronics. In Addition, The Buildings Are Equipped With A Discontinued Suspended Ceiling Model That Cannot Be Retrofitted. Accordingly, They Can Only Be Removed And Replaced With New Ones After The Completion Of The Tga Work. In Addition, There Is Poor Room Acoustics, Which Is Improved By Appropriate Panels. The Renovation Of The Existing Buildings B, C And G Includes Replacing The Drinking Water Network And Modernizing The Electrical System. In Addition, The Surfaces Will Be Modernized In The Form Of New Wall And Floor Coverings. In Addition, The Organization Of The Classrooms Will Be Adapted To The Needs. Small Structural Interventions, Such As Breakthroughs, Are Planned. In Order To Improve Thermal Protection In Summer, In Addition To The Roof Renovation, An External Blind System Is Planned. Building C Will Also Receive An Elevator Extension To Enable Barrier-Free Access. It Was Also Determined That The Hourly Toilets In Building Parts B, C And G Are Outdated And In Need Of Renovation. In Building C, The Toilets In The North Wing Have Therefore Been Brought Forward And Are Already Being Renovated. Building G Is To Be Expanded By Annex J. This Includes 3 Floors, Which Contain Additional Classrooms And Computer Science. The Rooms Are Accessed From The Respective Existing Floor. An Elevator Is Also Planned. Escape Takes Place Via An External Fire Escape On The South Side. The Extension Will Be Positioned Away From Building G So That The Classrooms Continue To Be Supplied With Light And Fresh Air. The Extension Will Be Constructed Of Reinforced Concrete Or Hollow Reinforced Concrete Floorboards. This Allows The Rooms To Be Freely Designed Using Drywall Walls, Which Can Also Be Changed Later If The Needs Of The School Change. The Facade Is Clad With Wood. However, The Connecting Corridor Will Be Set Apart From The Extension By Sheet Metal Cladding And A Lower Height In Order To Visually Separate The Old And New Buildings. The East Facade Facing The Existing Building Will Be Attractively Designed. The West And South Facades Will Receive Greenery. The Flat Roof Will Also Be Greened. External Blinds Are Provided To Regulate Solar Radiation. The Equipment Includes Gray Aluminum Windows And Door Frames With Wood-Look Door Leaves. The Linoleum Floor Coverings Are Designed According To The Color Concept. The Walls And Ceilings Are Kept Light.
