The development of such a document requires specialized skills and knowledge and these resources are not available internally. An external consultant will bring relevant prior experience and knowledge that takes a holistic approach to the campus. The current signage guidelines are outdated and a standardised approach to design and implementation of new signage is required, initially to support signage updates in line with, and to promote the University of Otagos new branding. The outcomes/deliverables we are looking for within the Signage Guidance Document and Wayfinding Strategy are: Strong acknowledgment of brand identity in the development of signage and wayfinding. This will be done in consultation with the relevant branding subject matter expert within Marketing Services at the University.
