Work Detail
Expression of Interest are invited for SBP Madagascar School Baseline Surveys DIME: Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) is a department of the World Banks Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC). DIMEs objective is to increase the use of impact evaluation (IE) in the design and implementation of public policy, to (i) improve World Bank and other MDB funded development projects and public policy to deliver better outcomes, (ii) strengthen country institutions for evidence - based policy making and (iii) generate knowledge in strategic development areas. With engagements in over 60 countries across 200agencies, leveraging a US$180 million research budget to shape the design and implementation of US$18 billion in development finance, DIME aims to overcome the challenge to identify true cause-and-effect relations in policy programs. By linking researchers to policymakers and feeding results back into policies, DIME foster systematic use of evidence, which informs adoption, mid-course corrections, and scale-up of policies. The impact evaluation: This impact evaluation will assess the impact of provision of home-grown school meals on childrens educational and nutritional outcomes in Madagascar. This evaluation will be conducted in partnership between the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, World Food Programme (WFP) Office of Evaluation (OEV), the WFP Madagascar country office (CO), the World Banks Development Impact (DIME) department. The data collection: DIME is seeking a survey firm to conduct baseline data collection activities for the evaluation in three (3) regions of Madagascar in August and September 2024. The data collection will have to be conducted using tablets. Tender Link : https://wbgeprocure-rfxnow.worldbank.org/rfxnow/public/advertisement/index.html
