Design-and-build procurement involves the earlier engagement of a building contractor and an associated design team. Under this model, the university contracts and manages design services until responsibility is transferred to the contractor, who completes the design and constructs the building. We need a contractor with the relevant skills and experience to excel in this role and keep the project on track for handover by the end of 2026 for student use in Semester One, 2027. The Successful Respondent will: a. have the capacity, capability, experience, attitude, and resources to deliver the project successfully; and b. have relevant and recent experience in delivering design and build projects of a similar nature in a comparable setting.
