The organization aims to establish a central online repository for these documents across nine (9) records holding centers in Lagos, Nigeria. The project involves: Developing a comprehensive action plan/methodology for digitizing the targeted 20 million pages of records. Initial sorting of estimated 40 million pages of documents across the 9 (nine) locations. Cleaning and preparing the targeted 20 million pages of documents. Deploying an EDMS solution compatible with Microsoft SharePoint. Indexing of the documents and providing necessary metadata. Provision of scanners to effectively aid the digitization process. Scanning the sorted documents in searchable PDF format Upload the entire 20 million pages to the cloud/repository. Ensuring storage back-up for the scanned and stored data (20 million pages).
