Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern is sourcing a Main Contractor to undertake the Construction Portion of upgrading the existing Water Ring Main Infrastructure at Southland Hospital. The Scope of Works includes: - Replacement of our existing infrastructure - Associated works i.e. landscaping, roading (Including road marking) - Working with the Principal and its appointed consultants to coordinate the programme, including planned shutdowns. An allocated area will be provided to store equipment and materials while the construction period is undertaken. Contractors will be working within a live hospital environment and will need robust methodologies and programmes to effectively manage the requirements and constraints that this creates. The anticipated dates are: Main Works Start | September 2024 Main Works Completion | February 2025 MANDATORY BRIEFING SESSION It is a pre-condition of this RFT that suppliers must attend a briefing session. The briefing session will take place at 10:30am on 10 July 2024, at the Facilities and Property Board Room, Southland Hospital Campus.
