Tenders are invited for Supply of Roller Bearings, Ball Bearings and Needle Bearings Supply of Roller bearings, Ball bearings and Needle bearings for SLTB for a year on 30 days credit basis Bid Security (Rs.) For Bids offering Spare Parts to a total value of Rs. 200,000,000/ = or less - 2.0 Mn. Rs. 200,000,001/= to 300,000,000/= - 3.0 Mn. Over Rs. 300,000,001/= - 4.5 Mn A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10.00 a.m. on 01.07.2024 at SLTB Procurement Section, 200, Kirula Road, Colombo 05. Every bidder or any person who acts as an agent or representative or nominee for or on behalf of any bidder shall register himself before submission of bids with the Registrar of Public Contracts, Sri Lanka as required by the Public Contracts Act Number 03 of 1987. The Original Certificate of registration shall be submitted with the bid. Bids of those bidders who failed to submit such Original Certificate shall be rejected. Bids shall be valid up to 16.10.2024 but the prices quoted shall be fixed for a year from the date of acceptance of contract. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as mentioned above for the items bidded, valid till 16.11.2024, irrevocable & unconditionally encashable upon the first written request by SLTB and issued by a registered commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka or an Insurance Agency registered with the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. Any Bid not accompanied by a valid Bid Security will be rejected.
