Research And Development Services And Related Consultancy Services – European Natural Hazard Scientific Partnership (Enhsp). The Envisaged European Natural Hazard Scientific Partnership (Enhsp) Shall Offer A 24/7 Stand-By Emergency Reporting Service To Facilitate And Improve The Analysis And Assessment Capacities Of The Emergency Response Coordination Centre (Ercc), A Regular Multi-Hazard Monitoring Service, And A Scientific Expertise On-Demand Service. The Services Will Strengthen The Capacity Of The Ercc In The Field Of Anticipation, Preparedness, Planning, Monitoring, Analysis, Early Warning And Information. In Addition, The Envisaged Enhsp Will Deliver Emergency Advisory Service Also To Eu Member States And Participating States To The Union Civil Protection Mechanism (Ucpm) As Well As Training And Exercises. The Envisaged Enhsp Will Be Composed Of A Network Of Scientific And Research Institutes Covering At Least The Following Natural Hazards And Including Potential Cascading Effects (E.G., Dam Break), At The Global Level: Severe Weather; Earthquakes; Tsunamis; Floods; Volcanic Events And Wildfires. It Will Form Part Of The Erccs Scientific And Technical Advisory Facility (Staf) Which Has Been Established According To Article 3.E And 8.C Of The Decision 1313/2013, Encouraging To Fully Exploit Science In Disaster Risk Management, Further Develop Transnational Early Warning Systems And Build A Comprehensive Situational Awareness Through The Development Of European Scientific Partnerships. Under Staf, The European Scientific Partnerships, Including The Envisaged Enhsp, Provide With Scientific Advice The Ercc And The Ucpm Allowing Better Anticipation, Planning, Preparedness For And Response To Disasters.
