Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern is sourcing a Main Contractor to undertake the Construction Portion required to house the new CT Scanner within the Radiology Department at Southland Hospital. The Scope of Works includes: - Alterations required to the existing space to house the new equipment, - Alterations to surrounding areas, set out within the Tender documentation. - Demolition of existing services - Construction work required to house the existing machine within the temporary location (X-Ray 4) Contractors will be working within a live hospital environment and will need robust methodologies and programmes to effectively manage the requirements and constraints that this creates. The anticipated dates are: Main Works Start | September 2024 Main Works Completion | December 2024 MANDATORY BRIEFING SESSION: It is a pre-condition of this RFT that suppliers must attend a briefing session. The briefing session will take place at 10:30am on 2 July 2024, at the Facilities and Property Board Room, Southland Hospital Campus.
