High-Tech Imaging Services (HTIS) mostly include, but are not limited to, M R I MRI scans, CT scans, and other interventional radiology procedures necessary for comprehensive patient care. Out of scope from this procurement will be: Radiology services delivered at clinics outside of Auckland. Low tech imaging funded under Cost of Treatment Regulations All imaging funded under Primary Health AS Why are we doing this? ACC annually procures ~150,000 high-tech imaging scans and procedures to facilitate timely diagnoses and treatments following injuries. However, with costs rising by 10% per annum over the last five years, the long-term sustainability of ACCs funding for high-tech imaging is under pressure. What is important to us? Our key priorities through this process are ensuring access to HTI services for our clients, maintaining positive health outcomes for our clients, and managing costs effectively.
