Mayo Lake Road Culvert Replacement . The Contractor Will Replace The Existing 12.4M Long Culvert Culvert With A 19.0M Long X 4242Mm Wide X 2616 Mm High Polymer Coated Structural Steel Plate Pipe Arch As Further Described In The Contract Drawings And Specifications. Work In This Scope Includes But Is Not Limited To The Following: • Traffic Control Measures For Full Road Closure. • Installation And Maintenance Of All Sediment And Erosion Control Measures. • The Removal And Disposal Of Trees, Shrubs, And Vegetation Gathering Around The Embankments Of The Existing Culvert. • The Placement Of A Bypass Culvert To Facilitate The Upstream Flow From The Lake Down The Channel. • The Removal And Disposal Of The Existing Culvert And The Placement Of The Proposed Culvert Specified In The Contract Drawings. Verification That The Elevations Of The As-Constructed Culvert Meet The Design Is Critical To Ensure That The Existing Flow Capacity And Navigability Of The Crossing Is Maintained. • The Removal Of The Previously Placed Bypass Culvert. • The Backfill And Compaction Of Granular Material Over And Around The Culvert In The Areas Specified On The Contract Drawings. The Grading Of Embankments And Installation Of Slope Protection To Be Placed To The Extent Specified On The Contract Drawings.
