Prequalifications are invited for Proposed Construction of a New Six-Storey Building, as Part of the Redevelopment Plan for the University Hospital of the West Indies, Mona The Redevelopment Plan for the UHWI will be done in phases as follows: Phase 1 - Demolition of existing Doctors Quarters buildings, the realignment of Ring Road East and the construction of a new carpark. This phase has already commenced. Phase 2 - The construction of a multi-storey medical tower with fully equipped surgical and clinical areas. LOCATION: The site is located by the parking lot, east of the Specialist Block, at the south-eastern section of the UHWI Campus. PROCUREMENT METHOD - National Competitive Bidding (NCB). AVAILABILIITY OF TENDERS The details of this engagement are included in the Standard Bidding Document (SBD) which will be available for download via the Government Electronic of Jamaica Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm) as of Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The clarification period ends at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024. All clarifications shall be submitted via the Electronic Government of Jamaica Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm). Applicants are invited to commence pre-qualification upload at least two (2) hours prior to the Close of Submissions.
