Work Detail
Urban Planning And Landscape Architectural Services – Freianlagenpl - New Construction Of Vehicle Hall And Restructuring Of The Fire Station In The Bietigheim District. The Bietigheim Fire Station Building Was Built In The 1970S And Occupied By The Volunteer Fire Department. When It Was Completed, The Bietigheim Department At The Time, Which Had Around 50 Members, Had To Go Out On Fewer Than 100 Missions Per Year. This Number Has Now Increased To Around 350 Missions For The Entire Armed Forces With A Further Around 150 Other Services In 2023. In Order To Be Able To Meet The Requirements Of The Fire Department Building Due To The Increase In The Number Of Operations, The Increase In The Number Of Fire Department Members And The Inclusion Of Female Members, Selective Structural Measures Have Been Taken Over The Years. In The Fire Brigade Requirements Plan Drawn Up In 2022, The Citys Fire Brigade Was Certified To Be In Good To Very Good Condition Overall, But Serious Deficiencies Were Also Identified, Particularly With Regard To The Bietigheim Fire Station Building, Mühlwiesenstrasse 25. “It Should Be Noted That The Location Has Reached Its Spatial Capacity Limit For The Increasing Tasks Of The Fire Department. There Are Sources Of Danger That Cannot Fully Guarantee A Smooth Operation.” For These Reasons, The Experts Conclude That There Is A Need For Action “To Counteract The Structural And Technical Deficits Identified And To Comply With The Framework Conditions Of The Relevant Din And Uvv And In This Way To Be Able To Guarantee The Self-Protection Of The Volunteer Emergency Services”. In Addition, From The Point Of View Of The Administration And The Fire Brigade Management, There Is A Significant Need For Improvement In The Accommodation Of The Youth Fire Brigade. As Part Of A Feasibility Study, It Was Clarified To What Extent The Needs Described By The Volunteer Fire Department And The Spatial Program Created Are Necessary, Appropriate And Sustainable, Or To What Extent This Need / This Spatial Program Can Be Structurally Implemented On The Mühlwiesenstrasse 25 Site. The Aim Was To Maintain An Appropriate And, Above All, Sustainable Fire Station. It Quickly Became Clear That The Spatial Situation Of The Building Did Not Correspond In Any Way To Current And Future Needs. The Fire Departments Needs And Spatial Concept Cover A Total Area Of Approximately 2,400 M². The Result Of The Feasibility Study Shows That These Requirements Can Be Structurally Implemented At The Current Location Up To An Area Of Approx. 2,250 M². The Results Of The Early Feasibility Study Are Attached To The Tender Documents. The New Planning May Differ From The Feasibility Study. Other Solutions, Conversions/Extensions/Expansions, Changed Processes, Etc. Can Be Found To Implement The Spatial Concept And The Needs At The Location.
