Since The Current Spatial Conditions No Longer Meet The Function, Extensive Renovation Work And An Expansion Of The Building Ii Building Are Planned By Adding An Additional Floor In Timber Frame Construction. The Plan Is To Create A New Cafeteria, New School Rooms And New Rooms For The Library. The Existing Building Will Be Extended To The North And West And The Existing 1St Floor Will Be Expanded In The Currently Single-Story Areas To Form The New Ground Floor. This Will Be Followed By A Complete Addition Of Another Floor (2Nd Floor). The Shell Of The Existing Building Will Largely Be Preserved And Upgraded For The Addition. Furthermore, New Elevator Systems Are Being Built To Ensure Accessibility Throughout The Building. When It Comes To The Supporting Structure, A Distinction Must Be Made Between The Existing Building And The New Building. The Existing School Building Was Constructed Using Solid Construction Over Both Floors. Both The Supports, Walls And Ceilings Are Made Of Reinforced Concrete. The New Building Is Planned To Be Constructed From Wood Starting From The Ground Floor. As With The Existing Building, The Basement And The Foundation Are Constructed Using Reinforced Concrete. The Floor Ceilings Are Planned As Uniaxially Tensioned Prefabricated Wooden Panel Elements Using A System Construction Method (E.G. Lignatur, Lignotrend Or Equivalent). The External And Internal Walls Are Prefabricated Wooden Frame Elements. Ceilings And Load-Bearing Walls Are Designed As Panes. The Roof Ceiling Is Covered With Gravel In Some Areas. In The Other Areas, Extensive Greenery With A Pv System Is Planned. The Building Is Stiffened Via The Wall And Ceiling Panels In Existing And New Buildings. Some Components Of The Existing Building, In Particular Some Of The Window Elements From 2009 And Some Prefabricated Reinforced Concrete Facade Parts, Are To Be Removed And Reinstalled In The Extension And Continued To Be Used. In Order To Ensure Unrestricted And Smooth Operation As Possible During The Construction Period, A Temporary School Building Will Be Built On Site In Which The Classes Will Be Relocated.
