Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern is sourcing a Lead Electrical Contractor to supply and install a new main switchboard and two 413kVA generators at Lakes Hospital, Queenstown. The Scope of Works includes: - Decommissioning the existing end of life main switchboard - Supply and install new main switchboard. - Supply and install two new 413kVA generators to achieve n+1 configuration. - Any structural works required for this this project. - Any builders work required for this project (including works required to establish safe passageways to comply with safe electrical installations). Contractors will be working within a live hospital environment and will need robust methodologies and programmes to effectively manage the requirements and constraints that this creates. The anticipated dates are: Main Works Start | October 2024 Main Works Completion | May 2025 MANDATORY SITE VISIT: It is a pre-condition of this RFT that suppliers must attend a briefing session. The briefing session will take place on 25 June 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Lakes Hospital, 20 Douglas Street, Frankton, Queenstown.
