General Procurement Notice for Project Accountant/Finance Specialist/Contract Manager The Grid Enhancement for Sustainable Energy Transition Project (GREST) will help the Government of Tonga to meet its 70% renewable energy target by 2025 by constructing a new 33 kilovolt (kV) electricity network to evacuate energy from a solar power plant and upgrading some portion of the existing 11 kV network. GREST will also strengthen the capacity of Tonga Power Limited (TPL) on construction and maintenance of the 33 kV network and support them in preparing gender policies and action plans. The project will support the government in significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuel, strengthening disaster resilience of its power grid network, and demonstrating continuous commitment to climate change.
