The City Of Schwarzheide Intends To Build The Lausitz Performance Center Educational Institution On Land In The City Area. This Is To Be Created As A Recognized Training And Further Education Center In The City Of Schwarzheide, An Important Industrial And Commercial Location In The Lusatian Region. The Establishment And Operation Of This Educational Institution Is Aimed At Securing Skilled Workers And Training Highly Qualified Skilled Workers. The Educational Institution Is Geared Towards Practical Vocational Training In Regional Key Sectors Of The So-Called Mint Professions. These Include Metal Technology, Electrical Engineering/Information Technology, Plastics Technology And Chemistry. Furthermore, Apprenticeships Are Offered In The Areas Of Warehousing/Logistics And In The Commercial Area. In Addition To Initial Vocational Training, Measures For Career Preparation And Orientation As Well As Further Training And Retraining Are Also Sought. The City Of Schwarzheide And The Future Operator Of The Lausitz Performance Center Are Forecasting The Annual Total Training Capacity Of The Lausitz Performance Center To Be Around 400 Trainees, Around 200 Students And Around 200 Participants In Training And Further Education At The Time The Contract Is Concluded.
