Bids Are Invited For Chetwynd Forward Attack Base Office Modular Complex

Bc Wildfire Service (Bcws) Of The Ministry Of Forests Is Seeking Proposals From Vendors To Provide All Materials, Equipment And Labour Necessary To Ensure Temporary Crew Facilities In The Form Of A New Modular Complex, In Place For The 2024 Fire Season. At The End Of The Term Of The Contract, Decommissioning And Removal Of The Modular Complex Will Also Be Required. The Province Is Also Interested In An Option To Purchase The Rental Trailers. The Modular Complex Should Be A Minimum Of Three (3) Modules Wide Or 2,160 Square Feet. The Space Should Include Three (3) Private Offices, A Small Kitchen, Crew Space, Two (2) Washrooms, A Shower Room, Locker Room And Laundry Area. A Conceptual Floorplan Is Included As Part Of This Rfp In Appendix E. This Document Is For Illustrative Purposes And To Demonstrate The Functional Layout, Size And Configuration That Is Desired. This Complex Should Be Unfurnished, Plumbing Is Required For The New Washrooms, Sinks, Washing Machine As Well As The Shower.The Contractor Must Complete The Required Documents For The Building Permit (Appendices F – K) For This Project. This Must Also Include All Engineered Drawings Of The Proposed Building To Satisfy The Building Permit Requirements.Bcws Is Open To Minimal Variations From The Proposed Floorplan Configuration And Space Allotment. Proponents Are Encouraged To Submit Multiple Proposals If There Are Various Floor Plans Available.
