Bnm Is Seeking Proposals For Internal Audit Services To Work Alongside The Existing Two-Person In-House Team (Head Of Internal Audit And Lead Internal Audit). Internal Audit Activities Are Strategically Aligned And Are Aimed At Improving Operations By Evaluating And Improving The Effectiveness Of Risk Management, Internal Control And Governance Processes. While Maintaining Our Relevance In Providing Impactful Independent Assurance And Advisory Services”. The Selected Provider Must Demonstrate The Capability To Work Both Collaboratively With The Current Team And Independently To Deliver Comprehensive End-To-End Audit Services. Additionally, The Provider Should Be Able To Supply Subject Matter Experts As And When Required In The Areas Of Cyber, Renewable Energy, Biodiversity And Rehabilitation, Sustainability And The Waste Industry. Scope Of Services: The Internal Audit Services Shall Encompass: • Conducting Comprehensive Internal Audits Of Bnm Processes, Systems, And Controls. • Providing Actionable Recommendations For Improving Internal Controls And Risk Management Processes. • Assessing Compliance With Regulatory Requirements And Internal Policies. • Delivering Timely And Accurate Audit Reports To Management And Relevant Stakeholders. • Offering Support And Guidance To The Existing Two-Person Audit Team. • Providing Subject Matter Experts In Areas Where Specialised Knowledge May Be Required (Cyber, Renewable Energy, Biodiversity And Rehabilitation, Sustainability And The Waste Industry). • Providing A Secondee, If Capacity Issues Are Noted Within The Team. • If Required To Work On Special Investigations / Protected Disclosure Engagements. • Provision For Additional Audit Services As Deemed Necessary Which Could Include But Not Limited To Reporting To The Risk And Audit Committee. The Contract Period Will Be For One Year With The Possibility To Extend Annually Up To Five Years.
