Tenders are invited for Repair & Maintenance of Wooden Walkway Bridge at Arad Bay Protected Area & Park Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: The Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) is managing the operation of Arad Bay Park in Muharraq and now intends to engage a locally registered and experienced Contactor to provide repair & maintenance of wooden walkway bridge at Arad Bay Protected Area and Park. The Bids are to be submitted by a single Contractor, as per the scope of work. The responsibility of work will be on the Contractor regarding all services to be provided as per the Scope of Work. The wooden walkway bridge is in the north of the park which was constructed some 13 years back and is approx. 200 meters long and 4 meters wide. The location of the bridge is attached. The bridge requires urgent repair and maintenance due to fast deterioration happening mainly in timber and structural works due to interaction of saline sea water with the structure and harsh weather conditions.
