Request for Tenders (RFT) for Vcsr2024/1 Advance Notice - Management of Okuru Quarry Open Date: Monday, 27 May 2024 10:00 AM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Close Date: Tuesday, 4 June 2024 4:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+12:00) Tender Type: Request for Tenders (RFT) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: West Coast Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: The West Coast Regional Council will shortly issue tender documents for the management and operation of kuru Quarry. It is focused on blasting, extraction, grading and stockpiling of Armour Grade Protection Rock [AGPR] which which will then be on-sold to the WCRC rating districts and on the open market with the intention of returning a profit to the WCRC to off-set the rate take. Management activities will require suitably qualified personnel to ensure that the operations on-site are undertaken in a manner which is fully compliant with the Quarry Management Plans, Health and Safety Plan, resource consents, relevant legislation, plans and guidelines. Operations will need to represent industry best practice and deliver whole-of-life best value for Council. Please see the attachments tab for the Advance Notice Document.
