The proposed protection works is for the left bank of Babai River starting from the bridge in Ratna Rajmarga at Chepang towards the upstream of the river. Major works to be executed under this contract are: construction of longitudinal RCC cutoff wall in between launching and revetment wall for scour protection, embankment construction with materials obtained from borrow pit, launching with vertical / sloping gabion revetment and provide land drainage, shed and a road-ramp facilities in the bank area.
