Tenders are invited for Consultancy for Thematic Study on Vegetable and Chicken Value Chain The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has received a Loan of USD 36.3 million from International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for financing the Project for Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders Project (AIMS) Project No. IFAD Loan No. 2000001751. The Private Sector (including beneficiaries and private businesses) will also provide co-financing to the project and together will makes up for the project costs appropriately at USD 61.6 million. The Financing Agreement was signed on 28 February 2017 and became effective on the same date. The project completion date is 30 September 2024 it has been agreed between the Government of Cambodia and the IFAD to conduct thematic study in the year 2024 since field implementation is largely completed and physical targets are achieved. Three regional hubs with 18 provinces are identified as target operational areas. Region Hub 1 (South East) has 5 provinces (Kandal, Takeo, Kompong Speu Kampot and Kep province); Region Hub 2 (North. East) has a coverage of 9 provinces (Prey Veng, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Tbong Khmom, Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Modulkiri and Preah Vihear); and Region Hub 3 (North West) covering 4 provinces (Battambang, Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey and Pailin).
