The Objective Of The Procurement Is To Have The Classification, Repairs And Modifications Carried Out On The Coast Guard Vessels In A Cost Efficient And Quality-Wise Manner In Order To Maintain Technical Availability Of The Vessels So That The Coast Guard Can Carry Out Its Assignments. The Framework Agreement Shall Contribute To Strengthening The Norwegian Armed Forces Operative Ability And Stand-By Through Increased Capacity For Maintenance And Upgrade Services And The Accompanying Engineering Support By Giving The Norwegian Armed Forces Access To Such Services In Peace, Crisis, Conflict And War. The Contracting Authority Shall Enter Into A Framework Agreement For The Delivery Of Maritime Engineering Maintenance Services, Repairs, Modifications And Engineering Support For The Listed Vessels Below.
